Side Dishes, Vegetables, Salads, Sauces, etc.

Life is busy enough, I don't always remember or even try to get a side dish on the table for dinner.  Protein and Carbs always seem to be the required.  The side dish is usually a simple plain, meaning no creamy sauces, vegetables such as corn, green beans, peas, beets, carrots, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, or simply salad.  Hannah likes and can have Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing on her salads.  However, every once in a while, the chef in me comes out and I come up with some fancy side dish that requires ingredients and possibly a recipe written down if I am to ever replicate the dish again.  As this does not happen often, the recipes showing up on this page may be few and far between.
